PROBLEMS SETTING UP THE APP ON SAMSUNG GALAXY S6
#11
For reference its under settings -> display -> navigation bar.
I don\'t think there is anything there that will fix your problem though, since this is for the soft keys and you say you don\'t see them.

Doesn\'t the Galaxy S6 have hard home and back keys anyway ?
My samsung Tab S has hard keys, and pressing the back/undo button removes the keyboard, I just tried it.

I hope you can resolve this, it sounds like a right pain Undecided

we will fix it  in the next version but we are unable to give you a firm dateYou should not use it until you are satisfied

Its not that simple though
We have CUSTOMERS who expect to be able to use the app and have paid for us to set up.
So as an installer of many years you are  telling me not to install the app until we are satisfied! But you can provide no indication of when the upgrade may occur!

Our app was designed to be simple and perform some basic functions;
See security zones, arm and disarm, control appliances and see their status
We will address the problem of some samsung phones  not able to enter the code due to your settings
However other requests etc to revamp the whole thing is not happening.

Taking a look at your problem again, it looks like a phone or OS problem, or you have missed a setting
The screen without the keyboard is shown below

In all android phones the Home and Back buttons must be there otherwise a lot of apps will have problems

Pressing the back button removes the  keyboard

Otherwise there is a down arrow button

The keyboard is needed in all the numeric fields. The phone has to provide a way to remove the keyboard from view
The Done button is at the bottom as it usually is. moving to the top would not be good visually
Is this an app problem or a phone/OS problem?

I think there must be a setting to maker it work properly on the phone

For example the Contacts app in Samsung would have this problem if you cannot press the down arrow button or the back button to remove the keyboard

Home, just to confirm again please, is this an S6 or a J6 ?
The S6 has hard buttons that are obviously always there (so you won\'t get the soft navigation bar too, and won\'t see them on a screen shot), the J6 has soft buttons on a navigation bar as discussed above.

I\'m sorry, I can\'t fix anything for you, but just trying to help since we use samsung phones / tablets, and don\'t see this.

Just try pressing the back button of the **phone** once.. That should get rid of the keyboard

I too don\'t have a virtual down arrow so in all apps I have to press the back button of the phone to get rid of the keyboard
