Comfort Analog Input Grapher
#1
The Comfort Analog Input grapher software helps to check the analog Voltage of the selected Input/Zone over time. This is useful when there is Zone Trouble on one or more zones. Zone Trouble may be caused by wire resistance or Faulty sensors but it may be intermittent, and difficult to check with a mulitmeter. This tool make a graphical display of the voltage over time, and allows you to save the image or log. You select No EOL or Double EOL for the zone before starting. the Zone Trouble region in the graph is marked out and in yellow. You can choose the UCM connection method as Network (ETH03) or COM Port (USB). This runs independently of Comfigurator.

This is a saved screen over time

I'm troubleshooting a possible very intermittent fault on zone 15 (double EOL), but the log doesn't explain what the codes are:

[20:38:31.01] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
[20:38:31.27] -> A?0F  <- IP1201
[20:38:31.52] -> A?0F  <- dR01
[20:38:31.77] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
[20:38:32.02] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
[20:38:32.28] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
[20:38:32.53] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
[20:38:32.78] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
[20:38:33.04] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
[20:38:33.29] -> A?0F  <- IP2700
[20:38:33.55] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
[20:38:33.81] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
.
.
.
[20:38:37.90] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
[20:38:38.15] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
[20:38:38.41] -> A?0F  <- IP1200
[20:38:38.68] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0

Can you explain what I am seeing here? Thanks!

these messages represent the analog values you see on the graph
eg
[20:38:31.77] -> A?0F  <- A?0FA0
That means Zone 15 analog value is 160

It is possible that a zone trouble may occur infrequemtly eg every few days
We are working on an enhanvced versionb which uyses the UCM to save the analog values which may be more than 1 week and does not need the PC connected

Great, thanks.
