Hi Slychiu,
I had posted last week re a problem with updating UCM Eth02 and Comfort firmware - the post has disappeared, presumably due to your move to new host and register.
My issue was I had only UCM/Eth02 and UCM/GSM, and was therefore unable to update the UCM Eth02 module firmware using the programming cable. I had asked you if there was a procedure to upgrade direct from laptop, but you advised me to get an Eth03 submodule to allow upgrading from Comfigurator.
I have purchased an Eth03 sub module as advised, and was about to install it when I noticed the following in sub-forum 113/3695: \"If you are upgrading from USB or ETH02 to ETH03 by plugging in the ETH03 Module, please upgrade the UCM firmware to minimum 7.048 before changing to the ETH03 submodule\".[/b]
[/b]I obviously cannot upgrade the UCM firmware, so what can I do now? It looks like I cannot just change the sub-module and upgrade the firmware from there. Is there a work-around?
Thanks,Paul
