Tamper alarm
#1
I am having some newbie difficulty getting an Intruder Alarm working.

My Door Window and Entry Door Zone Types are set to Intruder under Normal and Trouble. In testing, when I come in and do not unset the alarm, I am getting a Tamper rather than an Intruder Alarm.

My internal PIRs are set either to AlertNightAway and AlertAway. When I deliberately set two off in Away Mode, to get an Intruder Alarm, I am again getting a Tamper Alarm (I do have the trouble alarm on the internal PIRs set to Tamper).

I presume I have something wrong in my programming but am flummoxed. Does anyone have any ideas?

The problem with your program is the Nondetector alarm for Intruder is set to Tamper, see image below

The Nondetector alarm for Intruder is triggered not directly by an immediate zone trigger but by \"Non-detector\" events like Entry alert time out

This should be set to \"Intruder Alarm\" Alarm Type instead of \"Tamper Alarm\" alarm type.
In general you should not need to change the settings for NonDetector alarms

Thanks Chui. Completely solved. I don\'t recall ever changing that from default but must have done inadvertently.

The best thing about the Comfort system is the level of support you offer and the help and support of this forum.

Have a good weekend
