What are the options PSU wise when powering a 2nd cabinet (either an EN01 or EN03) when this cabinet only has UCMs in it.
I can see in the UK that the EN03 is available with a transformer but I assume that\'s intended to be connected to the mainboard for rectification/regulation etc.

You do not need the transformer for UCMs
I dont know if the EN03 is already with the transformer bit it does not cost very much, so you can leave it connected or remove it
EN01 is smaller 350 x 310 x 95 mm but it may not be stocked in the UK, but not sure about that
Both have some mounting locations for UCMs

I went through a similar exercise recenty and purchased an en03 and mounted it. I also thought that whilst I was at it I might as well buy a slave as well to cater for future expansion as they are pretty cost effective. I then purchased a power supply from cytech and a backup battery from maplins.
One thing to watch out for that hopefully cytech have fixed since was that the power supply didnt come with a fused connection block which they sent me shortly after.
I have my en03 populated with 3 extra ucms and doesn\'t seem to matter if I power from the slave power supply or directly from the rs485 bus powered from the main unit via ka/kb.
Hope this helps.

If your 2nd enclosure just holds UCMs, these can be supplied only from Comfort or the Slave. Only Comfort and Slave have built-in battery chargers to charge a battery
There is no separate PSU in Comfort
But if you just add a few UCMs these should not need an additional PSU as they do not require much current

The ucms and lems are all the same size 108 x 88 mm
6 of these +Comfort will not fit into one enclosure
It is better to get another EN03 to fit the extra modules and have extra room to play around
You should not need an extra power supply
