All in one keypad ?

I\'d like to start to collapse my wall controllers. To start with, the entrance which has a KP04 and a CBUS DLT.

So, what options do I have to replace a KP04 and a CBUS switch, into one unit, that allows signin with Comfort and the comfort audio feedback (I already have a UCM with audio board to go)

It connects to UCM/audio module either on Rs232, USB or Ethernet
Currently we do not supply am embedded PC touchscreen but there should be many third party products available which run Windows XP or embedded

I wasn\'t thinking of a PC touchscreen but an off the shelf Cyech or Clipsal product. What are the options ?

In that case, the new KT03 monochrome touchscreen keypad to be launched in the 2nd half of this year should be exactly what you need. It can be mounted in Horizontal orientation

It has built-in speaker and microphone
Ignore the old icons, It will come with new refreshing icons, or you can use your own images. Completely programmable using Comfigurator

What capabilities does it have for being able to slightly customise so i can control CBUS (via the CBUS UCM) ?

This will allow you to put in buttons that can send any command to Cbus and to display the state of C-Bus group addresses (with the UCM/C-Bus)

I gather the KT03 is programmed via Comfigurator.

Can the configuration be uploaded to the KT03 via UCM/Ethernet?

The KT03 configuration is written to the KT03 through a direct USB connector on the KT03.  It cannot be done by Ethernet

The KT03 USB connection can also be used to write the Comfort configuration to Comfort, so it acts like a UCM

So the USB interface is on the KT03 itself.
Is there a hidden flap that opens then or does it have to be removed from the wall etc to programme.
Just trying to understand the steps involved.
It\'s a shame you can\'t program through UCM/Eth as it would seem I\'d need to balance a laptop on my knee to program a keypad half way up the wall next to my back door and hope nobody wants to enter/leave the house whilst programming it?
