In your test bed, the Number of UCMs is set to 2 and the FPR is ID 2? Then the setup is correct

Can you monitor activity using the Bus Monitor when the fingerprints are read, and send us the log. This wil tell whether anything was sent from the UCM to Comfort when a fingerprint was ready
The Bus monitor is in Tools in Comfigurator. This requires a UCM05. Select the COM port for connection
Enter your user code in the UCM Login box on the bottom right then press Start
You should see activity on the main window when the fingerprint is read
Press Halt and Save and send us the file

I\'m using comfigurator 3 The UCM I/O monitor doesn\'t show anything when I trigger the FP with a valid fingerprint.
Could it be a problem with this batch of readers?

I dont know what the problem could be. We will send two new FPRs and UCMs. After you verify them please return two sets so we can check what went wrong

I spoke too soon.
I just noticed in the Bus Monitor display screen that the port is inactive and the UCM Login window is blank. You need to enter your code eg 1234 in the password window before pressing Start

That is your image. I ws logged in on the monitor and was detecting other processes

Now I cannot believe that 5 FPRs do not work! It is not possible as all were tested before shippong. There must be a mistake somewhere. We will send 1 FPR with UCM connected up for you to verify

Seriously they don\'t work! I\'m quite happy for you to send 1 to try I\'ll send you one from the testbed which you can try. Where should I send it? The only variable we have not discussed is SW8 but it shouldn\'t affect things according to the manual. SW 8 1 and 2 are shorted. The key is that D2 and D3 show no activity when the FP is read so it would seem that there is no data coming from the Touchstar units.
I\'ve just tested the outputs from teh Touchstar and there is nothing.
