I'd like GSM to be primary dial out module

Is it possible to programme comfort so dial out is always via GSM even when the landline is ok?

It could be a firmware change, but why would you want to use GSM iwhen you have a landline?

A few reasons really.

1. I have a pabx connected after comfort connections - whenever comfort is dialing out, it makes the phones ring and it\'s very very irritating

2. I use my alarm as a 24 hour alarm so there\'s often false alarms. This costs me a lot more money than if it went through gsm, as calls are free via SIM card but have to be paid for via landline - calls to mobiles are not cheap

3. I think it\'s more likely an intruder will cut the phone line than have technology to block mobile signals, (my phone line can be cut easily) and if someone is cutting the phone line then breaking in, I want the call to go out very quickly, especially if I\'m in the property - I don\'t want to wait extra few seconds for comfort to decide what to do

4. Yes I want my property protected when I\'m not there, but, I want full control when I\'m in the property. If there is an intruder, I want the landline free just in case my mobile isn\'t to hand so I can dial 999 emergency services, not wait for comfort to phone me on my mobile to tell me what I already know!!

Hope that makes sense. Time in these situations is of the essence. A few seconds delay of the emergency services can be the difference between life and death, especially when there\'s a fire. If you have programmed comfort to call you on your mobile first, by the time comfort has called my mobile and has moved onto calling my partner, we could be dead!

So I want control of the landline so I can dial emergency services and leave the automation to the gsm module. Ideally I\'d have two lines but pricey.

Thanks

This issue has been going on for a long time and has always generated the question of making the GSM the default dial out (I dont think it should be a default but a choice when configuring), depending on what country your in the GSM is the prefered dial out method. If this can be done by a firmware upgrade that would be great........
