The saga continues. I received a new CM9001 only to find that it appears not to work with my current power supply. I plugged it in to the transformer but nothing happens, no lights on the LEDs etc. However, if I connect the backup battery and press the SW51 button the board comes to life. Does this mean I need a different power supply? I also note that the configuration of the new CM9001 version ULT 7.xx is different than the one I was replacing which is a ULT 5.xx version. So it is not a straight swap as I had hoped. Can I still use my original LEM module with it? It is not clear how though, since the connector has been relocated and the ribbon cable can no longer reach with the board mounted on top. Further, I have a RGR module as well as DP connector on the old 5.xx board. These appear to have been removed from the 7.xx board. Do I need a ringer module or do I now need to get a DSI module (although it says in the manual it is not required for the CM9001?) Last edited on Thursday Jul 25th, 2024 09:54 pm by darnold |
