If you can disarm remotely then your wife should be able to disarm by keypad.
Do yiou mean the siren would not stop after entering th code? Are you sure the code was entered correct, and the keypad did not give a long beep to indicate wrong code?

Power Failure should not cause the siren to sound. This is in the alarm Types Power failure setting. Please check this or send the cclx file to support@cytech.biz
If you signed in and the siren does not get silenced try 0 for security Off after signing in on the keypad
