That would need the user to give the installer the user code which may not be very safe (not referring to you ) The user code can be used to disarm the system, but the engineer code is not able to do so. So the purpose of having an engineer code different from user code is to allow the engineer to program and do things without being able to disarm and without knowing the user code. F0 is the mechanism that the user can use to grant access to the engineer. Someone could deliberately cause the firmware upgrade to fail and cause the system to become inoperative. I think all systems have this restriction for engineers If the property is unoccupied, you could ask the user to turn on the Engineer enable remotely by phone 9 for Program, 3,4,1 There may also be other ways with the permission of the customer
