Custom Events
#11
seledct a custom event number 0 to 255. The evenmt number has no specific meaning, It is for you to remember that this event number is linked to the event that you are trying to record, eg event 2 in my example

If tiou want to know when say Output 3 is turmned on, thne  create a response where you set output 3 and add the save evcent log action. ^The event 2 in the evenmt log tells you thjat output 2 weas turned on. Normaly only sedurity-relatred evenmts are saved in the event log

Sorry to be so dim, Slychiu but I just cannot see the security tab. Ive looked at the Comfig help and it says "This screen enables responses to be defined, which will be activated when various events occur within the Comfort system.  In all cases, clicking on the null icon will display a list of available responses, showing numbers, names and descriptions"  (the null icon is three dots in the text) but I don't see anything like this. All I have on my Miscellaneous Events screen is like a large star/flower in the top right corner - and it it isn't 'clickable'. So, where do I go? What am I missing? BTW, I am in ''Engineer Advanced Mode'. Is this correct? Many thanks for all your help!

Yes, I seem to have found something! Ive looked at 'Time Programs' under 'Schedule' and at 23:00 I run an event 'ElevenPMSet' - and guess what? In that response I set a flag and then 'Save to Event Log22'. Wow!! Same thing at 06:00, except I 'Save to Event Log23'. Who'd have thought it!!

Now, is there a quick way to search responses for the 'Save to Event' response - would be very useful! But I'm still confused as to where that screen you showed me (the custom: cus screen) is? I just can't see it! Is it something that my firware (which is fairly old, I guess) doesn't support? And where are the three dots icon mentioned in the Help File? Thanks for all you - very patient! - assistance. Much appreciated - Mike

BTW, here's a screenshot of my system:

Thanks INGO. I found a better way to do this, rather than searching through every response manually(I've got a lot!). I loaded my configuration file into the Notepad++ application and then did a search for 'custom event' and it showed up immediately - and easily! So now I know exactly where each 'custom event' is from.  But Im still confused about the screenshot that Slychiu added to this thread - the custom screen. I just cannot find it! Do you know where it is?

Yes. When you Add Action in your response you will see it.
