Tamper Alarm at Startup

After a power cut I now get a Tamper Alert when the alarm is powered on.  It is not the case switch (I have that shorted).  Is there a way to stop the Tamper Alert (entering the PIN doesn\'t work)?  How can I determine what is the cause of the Tamper Alert--does not give me any indication on the Keypad just flashes Tamper Alert along with a siren.

The tamper alarm should always be silenced by signing in on the keypad to disarm the system.
do you have a battery? That should prevent the system from shutting down in the veent of a power failure.
Do you have slaves? Each slave has their own tamper input.
It could also be that the Siren takes up too much current so that it drops the power supply DC voltage and you are unable to sign in. If you haved a battery that would not happen

The fact that it is not silenced when signing into the keypad is the very reason I posted a query.

Yes, I do have a battery backup and the battery is good. The power was cut to replace the battery.

I have disconnected the siren from the unit. I do not have any slaves just two UCMs.

I am able to sign-in but the Tamper Alarm continues.

If you can sign in. then pres 0 for Security Off. This should disarm the system and turn off the siren
