Iphone App - dyndns
#1
Hi

I am having some problems with connecting from my iPhone using the internet option.

Message : connection timeout .. system busy, Ip address is wrong.

No issues with Wi-Fi.

I can ping my dyn address and the url link takes me to the router.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

For remote access you need to set up port forwarding on your routereg port 1001 on the internet IP address of your router  should be forwarded to your local IP address port 1001
Without port forwarding, only port 80 is accessed which does not go to the ETH03

Hi

Thanks.

I deleted my settings on my iphone app and created new ones and it worked.

Almost like, forget this network

Hi

All functions on the app works as designed  via Wi-fi.

On the internet,  I can only go to the Security option and not to  Control Or Zones.

Any ideas ?

The app works the same through wifi or internetIt looks like you have some setting problem on your phone
check that the IP address for the Internet is correct, and you have selected the correct profile in settings when on Internet

Hi

I have port forwarding. I can Arm and disarm my system remotely when I am away from home ie outside my wireless range.

Just not getting full access to all the functions.

If you cannot  see the zones and control menu in the app, it is because the jrlccclx file has not been imported correctlyDelete the old profile, or create a new profile, export the cclx file again and import to tthe phone agaiin.

That is not something that we have seen beforeif the cclx file hasbeen imported then you can see the zones and control in wifi as well as internet
There can be no difference because as far as the app is concerned, it does not know whether the connection if by local IP address (wifi) or by internet via port mapping. Both ways connect to the same local address and port
hence it has to be something wrong with your setup or connections

You seem to have 2 different profiles, one correct and 1 incorrect
