I have run Comfigurator successfully on Vista.
No plans at present for Vista Sideshow as far as I\'m aware - this obviously involves hardware development and I\'m unclear how this would fit into the Comfort architecture. What sort of thing did you have in mind? Malcolm Green

Hi Malcolm,
At this stage for home control, a cheaper alternative to touch pad controllers. A brief overview for those who did not get the buzz ... Windows Vista SideShow is a secondary display that\'s going to be built into notebooks and Tablet PCs in the second half of this year. The display can be used to view email, calendar, and other Outlook data, in addition to light gaming and other gadgets. SideShow displays are self powered, so they work even when the host device is turned off. This is just the first step though. The platform allows for SideShow to be built into other devices as well, like keyboards, phones, display casings and remote controls. http://www.engadget.com/2006/12/20/sides...tion-tech/ http://www.engadget.com/2006/10/23/a-liv...-sideshow/ Thanks |
