When dialing in to Comfort, it will answer the call after the programmed Number of Rings and either play the Greeting message, if one is recorded, or if there is no Greeting message, it will say \"Please sign in\". See http://www.comfortforums.com/forum17/57.html for recording of Greeting Message.
To sign in, press the * key and enter your code followed by the # key
eg *1234#
If the code is correct, the system will enter the User Voice Menu, ie
\"Press 1 to arm security system
2 for messages, 3 for security menu, 4 for Home control ..\"
if the code is wrong you will hear \"Wrong Code\"
To sign in using the local phone connected to Comfort,
Lift the phone handset, press the * key and the code and # key (same as remote sign in). Each press of the key should give an audible beep tone
If the code is correct the same user menu will be heard.
Note that there may be a problem with phones on a digital line, ie if the phone servce is provided by fiber optic or ADSL box. Such services may block the DTMF tones
