I\'m pleased to announce a new maintenance release (version 4.1.5.7) of ComfortClient.

It is advertised to existing users of ComfortClient and can be downloaded from the usual links in the ComfortClient forum area or my FuturehomeSoftware website.

Many thanks to those supporting me in the continued development of ComfortClient.

Bug Fixes/Changes

· Plugin whitelist was not evaluated correctly for some plugin author Public Keys where the key bytes contains leading zero’s.  Principally these affected Plugins by Ingo.

· Numeric values passed as strings from Plugins when updating floorplan objects that have 1 or more leading zero’s are left as strings whilst those without leading zero’s are considered numeric.

· Event Log query replies were not sent to plugins; DataMonitor etc were thus unable to display.

· Event Log fetch progress bar would error if more than the max expected number of event log entries are received from Comfort.  For example 600 are expected for ULT but some Comfort firmwares currently bursting a few over that maximum; probably a bug but ComfortClient needs to handle this unexpected condition cleanly.

· Event Log tooptip displayed when the cursor was moved over an entry longer that the current display width would flicker as the mouse was moved.

· Version History is now stored in Open XML (.docx format) for better application compatibility and the document style has been improved for easier navigation.

· ObjectID would be greyed out for Plugins in Floorplan Editor Object Properties when reopening an existing object.

· The ESC and END keys only operate when the “Connection” tab is now selected and if the keypad keys 0-9 are used to enter the user code the tab will automatically be selected.  This helps prevent accidental logouts.

· Placeholder Selector throws an exception when selected if there is only one object on the floorplan.

· Setting a diffferent windows language region in could sometimes cause an exception when loading the plugin Whitelist on ComfortClient startup and you would be prompted to manually accept each plugin.

New Features

· Plugin framework API extended to allow plugin main and status menus to be hidden.

· Version History (.docx format) Open XML Word format file can now be opened from the main menu.

· The load warning for unauthorised plugins can now be supressed via the “Ignore Startup Warning” on each Plugin in Plugin Manager.
