UCM 7.043 /7.048
#1
New Features in UCM 7.043 will support new features of UCM/ETH03
Please download from https://www.cytech.biz/ucm_firmware.html

This should be released soon
  1. UCM counters are not volatile at warm start  (by reset button or software) so reset does not clear them
  2. If UCM cold start reset ie loss of power or after firmware upgrade, clear counters, date and time  and registers that are maintained at warm start
  3. UCMs will report Reprom size in U2 to Comfort at reset
  4. Transmit buffer size for RS485  increased to 500 bytes
  5. Extended AL message implemented  so Comfigurator 3.8 can report alarms
  6. Query comfort flags at reset
  7. Alarm messages AL can be sent without log in to ETH03
  8. Fixed minor bug in Read serial number command
  9. When reporting alarm type, also send date and time so email application on ETH03 can have date/time stamp
  10. New LT command from comfigurator log in ETH03 will block other ports for multiport

Note: the new UCM firmware will crash the iPhone app when arming and disarming. Please do not use the iPhone firmware with UCM 7.04X, or use UCM 7.04X if you do not use the iPhone app

Thanks Ident. Does this mean you plan to support a means for Comfort to set it\'s date/time from an NTP/SNTP source?

I also note a beta release for the ETH03 module itself is on the website - 1.21. Is there a list of changes that you are able to post?

UCM 7.046 (Beta)  has the folowing change from 7.043

Logging in to UCM (LI) with wrong code wil  send a reply of \"NA\" instead of \"LU00\" so it will not log out the UCM

This has a slight Incompatibility with Comfigurator and the Comfort apps as Incorrect login wil not be reported correctly
New versions of the software wil be required to deal with this, so this firmware is to be used for testing only

Note: This firmware has been withdrawn and replaced by UCM 7.048 because it causes incompatibilty with the applications

Note: the new UCM firmware 7.04x will crash the iPhone app when arming and disarming. Please do not use the iPhone firmware with UCM 7.04X, or use UCM 7.04X if you do not use the iPhone app

The iphone app does not handle the extended Alarm message AL

UCM Firmware 7.048 (beta)
This reverses the change in UCM 7.046 beta which replies NA to Invalid Logins (because it does not tell the application that the login was invalid)

UCM manages the logins for the ETH03 ports so that its ports can be logged in, and logged out and disconnected without affecting the other ports which remain connected

The Comfort apps and Comfigurator operation are not affected

This requires ETH03 firmware 2.0.2
