Getting rid of landline!
#1
Hi,

Ive finally gotten rid of my landline (well, it was actualy a voip line for the last 5 years, I am in a rural area, and my Broadband is a fixed wireless 5.8ghz link, so no need for a fixed line).

Anyway, in doing so, Ive disconnected it from comfort, and need to disable the phone trouble alerts, but cant figure out how to do this.I know its basic, but cant quite figure it out.

BTW, my long term plan is some form of push notification setup from comfort to my smartphone. What I am planning on doing in the short term, is useing my DVR, which sends an email on certain conditions. The dvr has 4 alarm inputs, so the plan is to connect a comfort relay output to one of the DVR inputs, and have the DVR send a notification when it sees an alarm from comfort.

Would nice if comfort could do this internally though, perhaps cytech could look at it as some form of future feature. Perhaps even using addituional hardware, such as a raspery pii ?

In Security Types > Nondetector alarms find Phone Trouble and set that to Null alarm ie Blank

We are looking at an email sending capability in Comfort
