Hi I have installed two fermax doorstations to the DM02\'s I find that sometimes I have to press the button two or 3 times before it rings the house phones, it only seems to happen if I haven\'t used the intercom for a while as after it has rung the phone once it appears fine.
Any ideas why it is doing this?

Is it a case of the button not making contact?
Can you try to press the doorbell test button on the DM02 and see if this problem also occurs? If it also does, that means it is not a button contact problem

Do you mean the button on DM02 works every time but the Fermax button sometimes has to be pressed 2 ot 3 times?
That would indicate that there is a contact problem with the Fermax

Everytime it has happened the doorbell chimes on the keypad, but the phones do not always ring. don\'t think its a contact issue as the keypad chimes

So the Button on the DM02 always rings the phones but the fermax button sometimes does not ring the phones bit always chimes on the keypad, is that correct?
Comfort may be ringing the phones but it may not be sounding
How many phones are connected? Try disconnecting all except pne

I think I might be closer to figuring out what is going on. If I press the intercom but then open the door it appears to cancel out the phone ringing. I have tried this by letting it ring a couple of times and then opening the door, the phone immediately stops ringing. Is this normal?

Yes that is a built in function
Opening the entry door stops the ringing
Presumably you do not need to answer the phone if you are already at the door

Thanks, if by coincidence the back door rings but I open the front door will it still switch off. Can I disable this option in Comfort? I have the situation where the doorphones are outside and I have a porch, sometimes people will ring the intercom and then walk into the porch.
