Note that firmware on systems that are purchased from distributors may not have the latest version due to the supply chain. Firmware for KT03 can be upgraded using a UCM by Direct Connection to PC, see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum4/2283.html

Hi Ident,

Tried to upgrade my KT03 with this firmware and get a message that Product number or type does not match.

To upgrade firmware on KT03 you need to be connected to its USB port

In Options > Settings, select the USB port of the KT03. If you have a UCM/USB, you will see 2 USB serial numbers

Then check  \"Via KT03\" box

I suspect you have selected the UCM, not the KT03 USB. This is why you get the error \"Product Type does not match\"

I missed the bit where the UCM interface had to be set to USB and via KT03 had to be selected to update the firmware of the KT03.
All done and working now.
