Transformer actual output voltages
#1
Would someone please confirm an actual AC voltage reading of a GEN2 transformer when connected to comfort?

I understand this should be around 15.5VAC - but would like someone to confirm what they are actually getting on the comfort AC in terminals

Many thanks

You should measure 14 to 16.5V RMS

I get 18.7VAC on a system which has been powered down for sometime.

I don\'t have a multimeter which can messure RMS (most don\'t) hence wanting someone with a standard multimeter to messure what they get.

I am leaving disconnected until I confirm if 18.7VAC on a normal multimeter is too much! Confusedhock:

Are you measuring the voltage unloaded or connected to Comfort
An unloaded transformer will normally have a higher voltage. Dont worry about connecteing 19VAC for a short period to Comfort. It can take it

I wouldnt worry too much about the RMS readings in AC, it should be close enough
