KT03 Tamper Easily Activated

Some of the KT03s may have the built in Tamper switch activated when the green Terminal block is pushed in to the back housing. This may be because one of the catches holding  the PCB to the back housing may have a tendency to let the PCB come loose when pushed. Hence when power is applied, a Tamper Alarm KT03 would be caused.

To fix this problem use a M3 self tapping screw to the boss shown in the photo below. This secures the PCB firmly to the back housing even with a loose catch. Future shipments will have the screw in place until the catch has been adjusted

I put the screw at point shown, but the problem remains, just apply voltage system shows tamper alarm. This makes 4 ʹ and screens have the same setup. ¨Mr Chiu sent to a log file and the configuration program - the log shows tamper problem in KT03. I look forward to helping you.
