Announcing KT03 Touchscreen Keypad
#1
Cytech have great pleasure in announcing our new KT03 monochrome touchscreen keypad to be available in the next few months.
This replaces the old KT01 but at a lower cost and better performance. The KT03 has a 4 inch (10 cm) monochrome touchscreen LCD, with built in speaker, microphone, and Infrared receiver. This is positioned as a keypad replacement, to be installed in place or in addition to a regular keypad, and not an expensive large screen colour touchscreen used in lighting or audio-visual systems.

Please visit the new forum dedicated to the KT03 at http://www.comfortforums.com/forum90/2002.html

Does this keypad support the disabling of the annoying button beeps on a KP0x ? On the KP03 this can only be achieved by having the volume control down to zero, but then you don\'t hear alerts.

And also, would this be suitable to replace a KP03 and a CBUS DLT that are next to each other ?

Yes it can replace a KP03 and a DLT, it depends on what you use the DLT to show

The annoying button beeps you mean the confirmation that you have pressed a button? No it is not advisable to remove that on a touchscreen as the feel is not as positive as a rubber keypad.

Looks great and finaly something to place it above the look of a normal alarm system and represet the value invested in the rest of it.

I like it horizontal.

Do we have a rough retail guide price?

Good work
#5
Thanks, the retail price in the UK will probably be around £310
#6
Hi

Can you please tell me how this is wired, does it need power.

I am about to get the walls replastered so it will be good to get the wires in place.
#7
The wiring is the same as a keypad. One shielded UTP.
#8
What we need to figure out , however, is the box . Have room for flush-mounted !
#9
Yes, there is a flush mount back box supplied with every KT03. The one shown at London Training has the back box. I think you may have seen it

What is used to program the screens ? Will there be many samples included - especially for CBUS ?
