WizComfort Setup Files
#1
In Setup > Options > Files tab
the Config file location should be the location of your ccl file which has been downloaded to your system. This allows WiZcomfort to extract all the information about inputs, outputs, ucms etc that is set up in Comfort

The IFR files location is the location of your IFR folder in Comfigurator. This is usually Program Files\\Cytech\\Comfigurator\\IFR. just click on any .fir file

The IOMAP location is whefre the main configuration file for Comfigurator is found. It is Program Files\\Cytech\\Comfigurator\\iomap.cym

To add on, whenever the ccl file has been modified and downloaded into Comfort, the ccl file must be reselected in the Setup > Options > Files tab of WizComfort, and WizComfort must be restarted. This would then update the configuration loaded on WizComfort.

Does WizComfort has a log file to log all the Comfort activities if the WizComfort is online 24hours?

No log file, but a simple way would be to leave the monitor on and just save the contents later

May I know any other software that can log all the Comfort activities to a log file beside WizComfort?

There is a thrid party Comfort Plug in for the Homeseer software, see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum28/
You will need the Homeseer software
If you have any questions, you will have to ask the developers of the software

If this software is to be used as a User Interface is there any way to use it without having to install Comfigurator?

Is it possible to just have the folder for the IFR and CCL file?

It doesn\'t seem practical to ask the end user to install bought Softwares just to have Internet Access via Wizcomfort!

Assuming you are talkingabout WizComfort, there is no need to install Comfigurator
You just need the ccl and ifr files

Yes, I\'m referring to Wizcomfort.

My concern is that It isn\'t very user friendly the installation process.

Would it be possible to have a single installation setup file that would create the necessary folders and then the installer would copy or ask the user to copy the CCL and IFR files to their folders.

I think that this way it would be a more professional installation.

The problem with that is that in most cases, the ccl and irf files  that need to be used by the user may not be know at the time you install the Wizcomfort software, so they would need to manually copy the required file anyway
