Comfort and Firewalls

I have a client who is trying to use comfigurator and DS Manager on a Mac running XP in Parallels. one of the firewalls is blocking ds manager.
Are there any known issues with using Comfigurator et all on a Mac and is Port 1001/10001 the only port that would need to be opened on a firewall?

Why not try to change the doors, for example in 2020;

Comfigurator and DS Manager on a Mac is beyond my experience

But the port setting to allow on the firewall shoukd be straihtforward. It needs to be what you have assigned using DS Manager. Default is 1001 or 10001
