Hello Wink,
i\'m interested in buy Comfort UltraII (i actually use HomeSeer).
I\'ve many DS10 and MS10 modules from Marmitek, interfaced to PC (rs232) with W800RF wireless receiver.
Is there a way to connect the W800RF with UCM, for use those sensors with Comfort Security (not only automation).
Thank you!

PS: is there an on-line shop in Europe (i\'m Italian).
Thank you!

I am not familiar with the X10 wireless products. There is no UCM interface to the W800RF. However there is a Homeseer Plugin for Comfort which may be useful to you, see forum at http://www.comfortforums.com/forum28/

Thank you, but i already have a W800RF Plug-in for Homeseer.
I wish to switch from Homeseer to Comfort, because it has more WAF (no fan, no noise, no extra cable, no extra outlets, no extra lan cables, no extra power consumption, no windows hangs...).

Can i attach the W800RF (it has an RS232 interface) to the UMC01 and read the data transmitted, by using it in responses?
Thank you.

Unfortunately the UCM cannot understand an arbitrary string of data which it is not programmed to expect. It is an embedded device and does not have the same capability as a a general purpose computer running a high level language

To understand the information, a special UCM must be developed eg UCM/CBUS or UCM/EIB, where the information is deciphered and sent to Comfort in such a way that it is understood.
