Comfort Server Manager 2 - slychiu - 08-25-2026

Comfort Server Manager 2 is a new version which discovers ETH033 network modules in the local network. Unlike the original Comfort Server Manager, it works on ALL network adaptors in the PC, eg wifi and LAN, and it will not attempt to search in Virtual network adaptors. The old software did discovery only on the 1st adaptor in the PC, and in some cases did not find the ETH03.

Note that the Comfort server manager included in Comfigurator is the old one. Please install the new software and run it as a standalone program. A New version of Comfigurator in the future will include Comfort Server manager 2.

RE: Comfort Server Manager 2 - slychiu - 09-08-2026

The new version of Comfort Server Manager 2 v1.0.7 has  the following improvements over v1.0.4

  1.  Live Port 1/Port 2 idle/busy state in the device list. Discovery reply already carried this (lines 4/5), so  it's now parsed into DiscoveryReply/DeviceInfo and shown as a column (falls back to the configured port number for   ARP-only devices).
  2. Self-update new versions from the cytech.biz version feed
  3. Write to Device confirmation dialog
  4. SNTP pool fixed to ntp.pool.org (recommended by the standards)
  5. Email dialog: presets, instructions, Test Email button, remembered credentials
  6. IP Addresses 3-row layout + autosize when device list grows beyond 3, and scroll bars allow more devices to be shown
  7. Regenerated app icon
  8. SNTP Setting / Email Setting buttons now start disabled and only enable once a device is selected (and stay disabled  during scan/busy) — previously always clickable, just logged a message that was easy to miss
