Slave battery - error 33 - Home - 06-11-2026

I am just about to upgrade an old SEM to a new SEM.

Before I do that I wanted to check the error that has just occurred.

On keypad I had battery warning and then slave 1 - I've (again) tried to attach the event log file but get cannot upload this file type so have forwarded it to your e-mail.

If you look in the event log you will see that we have a series of coms failures - it possible this may have all kicked off when they had a power cut a couple of weeks ago ( i called in them and had to power everything down to get it all to come good system reset on keypad or manually just kept rebooting into a fault state.

If the charging circuit has failed what should the LED be doing ? Currently solid D14 (green).

If the power suppoly for Slav ehas failed, the slave Red /arm led should be On. If the slave battery is low then the Red Arem led will flash

This is from the SEM01/A manual

LED Indicators (when not setting ID)
• ID2 (Green) - Normally On. If  this Slave ID is not addressed for 3 seconds,
ID2 will  blink continuously.  This indicates that the Number of Slaves in
Comfigurator is not set correctly.
• ID1 (Red) - Normally Off.  If RS485 communications from Comfort is not
received for 9 seconds, ID1 will blink continuously. Hence if KA/KB is not
connected, ID1 and ID2 will blink continuously.
