Fibaro Smart Implant - Strobe output - sinky100 - 09-10-2025

Hi guys,

Looking for some assistance on using a smart implant (Z-Wave) to detect when the comfort’s strobe activates.
The smart implant is requires a 12V supply constant (Aux 12V, COM). I was hoping to use STR- and !2V to connect to the smart implant, but see that at the panel the STR- is the only terminal connected to the strobe. I assume that the 12V is linked inside the siren box from the SIREN +?

I am also considering connecting the smart implant to one of the OP terminals. Where the OP would activate on strobe activation through responses, but would need more investigating.

Anyone have any experience connecting the the smart implant to the comfort alarm?

Thanks,
Iain

Yes 12V and siren+ are connected internally. But I see from the manual that the smart implant requires Normally Closed contacts, instead of voltage so you would need a relay driven by a comfort output to connect to the Fibaro device., You can use RLY01 with 4 12V relays
