Some installations may require SNMP interface for the monitoring of the EMS Sensors and alarms.
The 3rd party SNMP to Modbus Master Interface module (HD67164-485-B2) may be used for this purpose.

This requires a UCM/Modbus-485 configured as a modbus Slave. The Modbus RTU (RS485) terminals are connected to the Modbus terminals of the SNMP to Modbus interface which acts as a Modbus Master. This has been tested in a CM9001-EMS system and works well. Let us know if any other information is required for this application.

To test the SNMP interface, a good tool is the iReasoning MIB Browser from http://ireasoning.com/

There is a free version as well as  Pro version with all the features including SNMP v3
