I have a CM9000 with a UCM/ETH03, a UCM/Pi and an LEM01 giving a total of 24 zones on it. I also have a SEM/01C mounted in SEP01/C expansion box with an LEM03 (16 Zone module).I\'m about to start a removation and I will need at least another 12 zones to cover additional windows, smoke alarms and external doors.What\'s my best option, I don\'t think I can add any more LEMs so should I get another SEM/01 or is there a better way of doing this?
Thanks!

The only way is to get another SEM/SEP01 and an LEM01 which gives 16 zones. The LEM03 must be connected to the last SEP01 (with higher ID). since CM9001 has diferent models of LEM which cannot be connected to CM9000, I suggest that you set the ID of the new SEM01 to 1, and change the ID of you existing SEM01 (with LEM03) to 2, I hope that is not too confusing - you can check this post http://www.comfortforums.com/forum16/1470.html
Altyernately get 2 SEP01C and a LEM01B and LEM03B

Thanks Chiu, I think I understand that! One other question, as I\'m looking at using KNX to control heating, lighting, etc. I may want to add a UCM/KNX2. I don\'t think I have room for it in my current configuration, so I propose to remove my UCM/ETH03 and install the KNX board in it\'s place. I will still have network access to the system through the UCM/Pi.
What do you think?

That should work. If you have the CM9001, the ETH03 can be plugged in to the PCB so you would not need the UCM/ETH03.

But please keep the UCM/ETH03 in case you should need it in future

Interesting, but I have a CM9000. If I upgrade to a CM9001 will my existing LEM01 and LEM03 work with it?

If you use the OLD LEM01, LEM02, LEM03 you will have to set the shunts to Double EOL (and use the EOL resistors). You will not have the option to have No EOL

OK, that\'s not a problem as all my zones have double EOL resistors.
