Hi, is it possible to reduce the announcement volume on KP04 for announcements like Security off, or disable it completely.
Can this be done from the KP04 keypad or the telephone menu?

The Keypad Announcement Volue can be changed in the Configuration > Voice Settings Menu, see screenshot below.
The Location (54 ) is shown at the bottom right for changing by Keypad. 90 is the default value. The Locations Menu on the keypad is accessed by Engineer Menu 7,4,1. Enter Location and # key.
The keypad announcement Level is different from the Keypad Menu Volume which is changed by Keypad User menu press 7 for volume

So in order to disable completely the announcements on a keypad, after engineer code #, I hit 7,4,1 54 # and I hear fifty four fifty four.What do I do next? Kindly please advise. Thank you.

To disable keypad announcements on ALL keypads, set Location 54=0..
To disable announcements on one keypad only, go to the keypad, sign in with your code to enter the user menu,
- press 9 for Program menu,
- 3 for Security,
- then 1 for Voice Report.
- Press 0 to disable announcements (\"Voice Reports\") and 1 to enable it
- Press F to exit
