G\'day,I have Comfort II with 2 KP04s and a KP06.I recently had a garage added to the house and will be extending the alarm into the garage.If I arrive home and want to put my motorcycle in the garage I will need to disarm the system so want a low cost option to do this. So far the potentially best solution is putting a KP03 in the garage.I have two questions;
1 - is the KP03 compatible with Comfort II?
2 - is there a better way to disarm from my garage without compromising security?

KP03 is no longer available. KP04A is the lowest cost alternativeYou could also use a key switch to arm and disarm but keypad is more secure

You should check with Laser. They may still have themKP03 is compatible with Comfort 2

OK - decided to spend money and go with a KP06.
I\'ll put the KP06 in the house and move an 04 to the garage.
So - I know the advice is to \'star\' wire keypads - but it would save me a lot of hassle if I could \'daisy chain\' the garage keypad to another already existing keypad.
Would that work?

If you daisy chain the keypads, the effect may be higher voltage drop along the power supply wires especially when the voice is talking
I suggest you try one wire befoire you finalise
alos double up the power supply 12V and Ground cables

An old thread - but in the same direction!
I moved the KP04 to the garage and it has been working perfectly for nearly 2 years.
Today I got a Communication error message for that keypad. I did a reset of the alarm via Comfigurator and a rescan of keypads. It disappeared!
The keypad itself has all the LEDs lit.
I chcecked the wiring and all seems intact.
I\'m wondering if the keypad has \'died\' but thought I\'d ask here first.
If it has died, are there any pros or cons to replacing with KP04A or KP05?

Did you do a continuity test on all the cables?the advantage with the kpo4a and above means you can partition the keypads and system.
