- Guest - 06-09-2017 I am intending to install Comfort in to a new house. My current configuration has hard wired PIR spread around the building, but in the new house I would like to install with wireless PIRs instead. Is this possible, and can Comfort supply a suitable component? - slychiu - 06-09-2017 Comfort does not have its own wireless sensors. We recommend to use products from Visonic or Risco, see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum95/ These products consist of wireless sensors which communicate to a wireless receiver with hardwire outputs which can be connected to Comfort as wired detectors - frp1 - 06-13-2017 Hi Julian We use risco wireless detectors. Give me a call if you need any help. Ben - Guest - 06-19-2017 Ben, you have pm. J - caravanboy - 06-29-2017 I\'ve used Visonic kit for years. They are ultra reliable in my experience and the batteries seem to last forever (~5 years in their MCT-100 wireless contact devices which I use on sheds, gates and outbuildings). |
