- wexfordman - 01-02-2007 Hi, I am trying to set comfort up to announce a spoken phrase on receipt of an x10 command. For example Receive A12 ON command and announce \"water heating on\" I did the obvious, set up a response to announce \"water heating on\" on keypad and then set up this reponse to activate based on x10 A12 On, but it does not seem to be working. I know x10 received codes are working as I have an autoarm command based on x10 receive a3on and this works. Regards, Eamon - Guest - 01-03-2007 What is your Comfort firmware version? Are you trying to use the \"Announce Words\" action? If so, this may not work for earlier Comfort versions. - wexfordman - 01-03-2007 Main boards says 4.8.9 and UCM is 4.107. Are these the firmware versions ? Sorry, I installed it almost 5 years ago, and have just started playing around with some of the more advanced features, so a bit rusty. Regards, Eamon - Guest - 01-03-2007 The mainboard must be 4.223 or above for the \"announce words\" to work. Hence, that would probably explain the problem. - wexfordman - 01-03-2007 Cheers, that explains it. What is the process/cost of upgrading ? Regards, Eamon |
