I\'ve been happily running Comfiguratoy for some time.

I found the casue but not the answer!

Yesterday I installed a patch from MIcrosoft as I was having problems putting the PC into Hibernate. The patch is KB909095.

I used system restore to get back to before installing the patch and Comfigurator is happy again.

Hopefully this will help somebody identify the issue. For the time being I prefer having Comfigurator and no Hibernation - but both would be better.
