I am an individual, I need to automate my home on my own.
I have a 3 BHK flat.
I need to automate lighting in my home.
I am looking for following things
TOILETS,TERRACES,COMMON AREAS
,KITCHEN & DINING AREA
- The lights in kitchen should automatically turned on when I enter and switch off when I come out.
LIVING ROOM & BEDROOMS
IR BASED LIGHTING, FAN AND CURTAIN CONTROL
TOILETS,TERRACES,COMMON AREAS
I would like to know all of the CYTECH products I need to automate above things.
I have attached the wiring diagram with this post.

Main Comfort Control unit interfacing with 3rd party LightwaveRF light switches
PIRs can be used to turn on lights on entry, and when combined with some logic through Comfort, could create scene control and turn on lights at 50% dim if triggered at night (say toilet)
An alternative would be add a ZWave UCM to comfort and interface with Fibaro dimmers. This option will provide status of lights as well.
Regarding IR control, Comfort can cater for this with independent IR LEDs or Keypad IRs

Comfort does not do dimming of lights by itself. This is by design, because we support and work with many lighting systems like KNX, C-Bus, Z-Wave, velbus, Lutron, Rako, Dynalite, Lightwave etc via UCMs (Universal Communication Modules) as mentioned by Vangelis in the last post
If you want to dim lights you will have to decide which lighting system you would like to go with then get the UCM for that system
If you only need to control lighting on and off, then you can use TWS modules https://www.cytech.biz/two_way_switch_control_module_dual.html
The TWS is connected to two way mechanical switches so that the mechanical switch can always be used to control the lights as well as Comfort. This requires 2 electrical wires from every lighting switch to run back to Comfort\'s TWS module.
Other Bus system also mostly need special wiring from the switches to the electrical distribution box
Lightwave is RF and can be retrofitted to normal switches but it is one way only
hence you will need to do a bit of research to find what works best for you if you are not using an installer
