- rocketsimon - 07-21-2013 Hi, I have a requirement to trigger an SMS text when an input is triggered, and then send 2nd when input restores again, but not trigger an intruder alarm. My approach was to configure a dedicated alarm type that triggers and dial out when triggered. My issue is that this is announced on the keypad - which I understand is because its an alarm - and I can\'t seem to stop this happening.... Any ideas how to send text messages for particularly inputs without triggering an announcement? I understand sms messages can\'t be triggered directly in responses? Kind Regards Simon - tech07 - 07-22-2013 I believe \"Idle State\" Alarm Type eg Family Care alarm is not announced - rocketsimon - 07-29-2013 THank you for the response, the Alarm is set as \'idle\' in state, but does still announce I\'m afraid. - ident - 07-30-2013 I think you mean that the Zone is announced, not the Alarm If that is the case in Zone Response, make a Response with action \"Skip Announcement for Zone\" in Keypad category This will prevent announcement of a zone |
