- juwi_uk - 04-13-2013 Whilst there may be times when setting using the \"set comfort date/time\" action is useful, are there really any times when you write a new config to comfort when you DONT want to set the date/time? I could only think if you were writing the config remotely from a PC setup for a different timezone. So idea.... Why don\'t you save the timezone that the Comfort is situated in in the CCLX file. Then when you write the comfig, compare PC and Comfort timezones and if they are the same then just always update date/time on write of new config? Julian - ident - 04-14-2013 That is a good idea The time zone must be recorded in Comfigurator but may the user forget annd hence not get the correct time zone for comparison - wiredhome - 04-15-2013 that actually happened to me last week I was in Mallorca and connected my Irish laptop to the system as I always set time and date when uploading to the panel, the time was set to the laptop which is 1 hour behind mallorca I didn\'t spot the mistake for 2 days, just before we left - Tan121 - 04-15-2013 Why Comfort does not support NTP servers? - ident - 04-16-2013 It is not a simple thing to implement unforunatelty - wexfordman - 04-17-2013 I think an info screen on the apps, where the comfort time is displayed, alongside other stuff like sunrise/sunset time would help a lot with stuff like this. |
