We\'re currently looking at installing a gate based intercom and are looking at the Videx 8000 series to be able to include a keypad and intercom in one unit.

In this instance the intercom would feed into the Comfort II presumably via a DM02 and the keypad relay outputs would feed directly to the gate controls.

Is this unit compatible or am I going to have issues? If this is a problem where should I be looking for a suitable unit? I\'m hoping that everything should be pretty straight forward and as far as I can tell it should interface with out any problems but I\'d like to double check first.

This is the intercom part of it and the link includes a wiring diagram etc

Thanks for any help

Steve

According to the installation instructions, the necessary signals are available, speech input, speech output, doorbell call button, door open, and it takes 12V
So it should work but we cannnot gurantee that there will not be other issues peculiar to this model

If you run into problems you are welcome to send the unit to us so that we can document

Many thanks for your reply, unit purchased so hopefully won\'t be a problem with integration, seems to be fairly straight forward although I have no doubt that I\'ll be after some help if we run into any trouble!!!
