Hi,
I have an old comfort system with the lm01 I believe.
Does this only give a dark or light output or can I program it by the light level.
I want to use it to turn on certain appliances when its really sunny so that i can use my solar panels to their full potential.

The LSM01 will only give a contact open/close when the light exceeds or is less than a preset level. The threshold can be adjusted by a variable resistor if I recall correct

The LM01 was notoriously unreliable. It was never water proofed as it came as bare componenets we used to sit the light sensors in conduit and then fill the conduit with clear silicone rubber but even then 18 month 2 years was max life expectancy.

If you are programming using LM01 add in a light sensor fail routine and flags so that you are able to turn the sensor on or off - other wise you will have all sorts of problems to sort out when it goes wrong.

If anybody needs LM01\'s we have a few left in \'stock\'
