We are about to launch our new range of doorphones for Comfort

They have flat plates at the front and can thus be manufactured in any material finish. Initially they will be stainless steel.

As a start we have three models

Doorphone with colour camera (UK DG back box)

Doorphone (UK DG back box)

Bell press (UK SG back box)

Bell press (UK partress box)

I just came across this as I was researching the options for a new door station... - As per my recent post in the \"troubles\" forum, seems I may have a dodgy doorphone, and it is one of the older polycarb models.

Since I probably have to purchase a new doorphone in the very near future, it would be nice not to get one only to have a whole new range released the very next week!

Any news on availability of these new units?

TIA

Paul

Your old doorphone will have a speaker faulty we get 100\'s of them ..... well every install with an old doorphone. We can supply replacement speakers at £20 + P&P.

The new doorphone\'s are imminient we are just beta testing and finalising prices etc.

Thanks Andy,

Mine \"appears\" OK speaker wise... - the voice announcements on the outside doorphone are coming through lound & clear - which is part of the problem! - I turned all voice announcements off on the doorphone years ago at SWMBO\'s \"request\"... Now they suddenly appear to have started again...

What I am seeing however, is if the DP is enabled in the config file, I get a constant \"Communication failure 49\" warning from Comfort, plus occasional random triggers of the doorphone response, so I Think my problem is a little deeper than just the speaker failure.. :-(

Got any pics of the new designs you can share?

Cheers

Are you running comfig 3 with .cclx file?

So you can no longer get a doorphone to be connected - obvious first port of call have you checked the cables?

Then check the actual doorphone - maybe replace the keypad with doorphone and visa-versa - this may negate the need to check the cable..

Rare that a doorphone pcb goes down - if its a route you want to take i may have a C1 doophone pcb in old stock!

Photos of new doorphone to follow in next couple of weeks.

Yup comfigurator 3.2.4 IIRC, and definately new CCLX file format.

I haven\'t had a chance to check anything yet, as it was only late last night / this morning that it really became obvious there was a fault. I won\'t get a chance to really check things out until this Thursday in all likelihood, at which point I\'ll open it up & check the wiring etc.

Unfortnately, it looks like \"a couple of weeks\" is too far out for me to wait for the new doorphone designs... :-( shame, as I\'m not averse to putting something better than the old plastic units in its place...
