- emabonacchi - 02-19-2011 Hello and scuse me for my question, but i am a little newbie an i want to be sure before buying something. Well, i want to stop using X10 protocol and i want to transfer my home automation on Cytech. So, i want to control my motorized windows, sunblinds and irrigation sprinkler. They simply works via relay contact on/off. I have a Cp9000 Ultra with a Lem module, so i have 16 input and 16 output zones. I have never used the \'output\' zones, but i think to have understood these are not only \'contacts\', but these are 12v carried output. So my questions are: -1: Can i connect to these zones every devices working with 12v? Zone On= 12vOn to my device? (i can connect 16 12v devices?) -2: What do i need to convert the output 12v zones into a simply relay contact? I have about 14 motorized windows and sunblinds. Am i in right thinking i need 2 Rio modules and 3 relay module Rly02/8 ? Thank you for your help Ema from Italy - slychiu - 02-19-2011 you can use RLY02/8 with 8 relays to convert the Outputs into dry (relay) contacts So if you have 14 motorised windows and sunblinds you need 2 RLY02/8 modules, You already have 16 outputs from Comfort and LEM01-M2 - emabonacchi - 02-19-2011 slychiu wrote: Quote:you can use RLY02/8 with 8 relays to convert the Outputs into dry (relay) contacts....i think one relay for \'on\' and one relay for \'off\', so 14 motorised windows need 28 relay, am i in right? In this case i need 4 RLY02/8 and 1 RIO? - slychiu - 02-20-2011 Correct, except you need 2 RIO with 8 outputs each, for a total of 32 outputs with Comfort and LEM01 |
