Note
Instructions for upgrading Comfort Firmware can be found at http://www.comfortforums.com/forum4/1782.html Please note that new systems may not come with the latest firmware due to existing sticks in the supply chain. Installers should upgrade to the latest firmware before installation. Existing installed systems do not need the upgraded firmware unless the funcgtionality is to be updated or there are bugs to be fixed which affect the installation. - juwi_uk - 05-15-2011 Hi Chiu I\'m just reviewing my Event Log decode for the ComfortClient and noticed this firmware adds support for Event Code 33 which isnt documented in the ComfortProtocol document. Is there a new version of this doc? The last one I have was updated 27 Feb 11 which is after the release of this firmware. Regards Julian - slychiu - 05-16-2011 Its now been updated in https://www.cytech.biz/technical_info.html - juwi_uk - 05-16-2011 Hi Chiu I\'m a tad confused by Event Code 32: In last manual it was \"SMS Dial Failure\" but now seems to have morphed to \"Message Deleted\" in the new manual. Which is right? Julian - ident - 05-16-2011 It was a mistake in the last document which has now been corrected Event 32 is actually Messages deleted and 33 is SMS dial failure - juwi_uk - 05-16-2011 So for event code 32: Greeting message = 00, Names = 11H to 18H, Incoming messages = 20H to 28H, Alarm Messages recorded = 30H * Event 32 Messages Deleted reports messages deleted according to the message tag parameter. The least signficant 4 bits is the user/mailbox number 1 to 8 or 0 for all users Examples; just to be clear, are you saying that: 20H = Incoming Message - all users 23H = Incoming Message - user 3 14H = Names - user 4 ? Julian - ident - 05-17-2011 Yes you have got it right |
