- Tas - 12-03-2009 I once had a false alarm which I can only guess was caused by a misfiring PIR sensor. I don\'t have the system linked to a monitoring station but want to do this now and was concerned about false alarms. I\'ve heard of alarms which have \"confirmation\" and trigger an alarm only if more than one sensor in the property is triggered. This seems like a really good idea and was wondering what the best way to implement this on comfort is. Alternatively does anyone have any other solutions? Many Thanks, Tas - slychiu - 12-03-2009 Confirmation has been available in Comfort since the very beginning, before it was a requirement for monitored systems in the UK You use Alert or Perimeter zone Types to accomplish this This is described in the Programming Worksheet and in this post at http://www.comfortforums.com/view_topic.php?id=995&forum_id=16&jump_to=3572#p3572 - Tas - 12-08-2009 Thanks. This is great. |
