- bryanajones - 09-26-2009 Can anyone suggest a way to use comfort to switch on an off items that are in standby? What I would like is to fit some wall sockets near the TV\'s. Any item such as the TV that goes into standby but would be better off when not in use. I would like to be able to remotely switch the sockets off. I.e. when I leave the house and arm the system, switch off all tv\'s etc. (hope I explained that ok) I am about to finish the decorating on the house so if any new cables are needed I need to get these down as soon as possible. Thanks Bryan - ident - 09-27-2009 ZWave would be ideal for this. The Appliance module plugs into the wall sockets and can be switched by Comfort using the UCM/Zwave - bryanajones - 09-27-2009 I don\'t want anything bulky or that can be seen. Kind of takes the magic out of it all ![]() I cant afford a total rewire of the house (because I cleaned myself out spending several grand on comfort ) but I\'m about to lay alarm cable and data cables so if there\'s anything I can do at this stage?
