Is it possible to play a reminder message on a specific keypad at a specific time?

For example play reminder message 2 on keypad 3 at 7am on week days only?

I would like the message to play on a single keypad only.

Thanks

Bryan.

Create a response using the action to play reminder message on any keypad, door station or UCM under the Keypad actions list.

You can then place the response on Schedule > Time Programs where it can be played during week days only and at a specific time.
Don\'t forget to tick the Enabled check box.

I\'m using comfort 1 at the moment and I do everything via the keypad and responses i.e. I do not have a UCM or configurator. It sounds like youre describing options in comfigurator?

Could you tell me how to set this up manually please?

Thanks

Bryan

Yes, I was referring to Comfigurator programming.

First thing is to create the response e.g. to play reminder message 2 on keypad 3.
From the keypad, go to Engineer menu.
Press 3 for Control.
Press 6 for Responses.
Enter the new response number and # key.
Put the following actions inside that response:
      133, 2, 3, 255

where:
    133 = reminder message on keypad, door station or UCM
    2     = reminder number 2
    3     = keypad number 3
    255 = terminator

Press # few times until you get back to the Engineer menu.
Press 9 for Program Mode.
Press 6 for Time Program.
Enter time program number and # key.
Press 4 for Response.
Enter the response number (this is the response you have just created) and # key.
Press 3 for Day of Week.
Enable all the week days.
Press # to go back to previous menu.
Press 2 to change time.
Enter the time and minute (e.g. 7 am).
Press 1 to turn on this time program.
Press F to exit Engineer menu.

Hope the description above is clear enough for you.
You can take a look at Engineer Menu Programming manual for reference.

The information sounds perfect thanks. I\'ll let you know if the kids get out of bed on time for school on Monday! Big Grin

The other, standard way of using Reminder messages is programming it to ring the keypad and the phones until someone answers on the keypad or phone. The recorded Reminder message then plays on the phone or keypad. This is like an alarm clock with message.

The way Hendy has shown you is to make an announcement on the keypads once at the appointed time. The kids may just ignore it and go back to sleep

Hendy. Awesome. Truly awesome. I set the reminder for 5 minutes before my own wake up call and found the kids stood on the landing fully dressed wondering why the rest of the house was still dark and quiet and who had woke them up.

It\'s worth buying comfort just for this feature! Big Grin

Thanks!
