- mrtae - 06-18-2009 Hi, Is there a way or can it be done If I were want to connect an external speaker & mic to Comfort system. The purpose is that I can call up to Comfort system & I can talk to someone who try to do something behind the house without using Door Station? Or with scarifying 1 of the new keypad & Door Styation can help to solve what I want with remove the speaker & Mic then connect the keypad speaker signal to an amplifier. Can it be done? Any better suggestion will be much appreciate Thanksââ¬Â¦ - ident - 06-18-2009 If you want to talk to someone in the house, you can connect an external amplifier to a keypad. You can talk as well as listen to sounds in the house. if the speaker is separated from the microphone then you will get very good performance from the intercom as there will be littlle accoustic feebackl so sound in both directions will be loud Dont scarify the intruder too much or they may sue ![]() - mrtae - 06-19-2009 I will make sure he donââ¬â¢t have chances to sueââ¬Â¦. , kidding! Actually I just want to make sure they know that even nobody at home, the house is still under good system monitoring it all the time.
