Hi

The Comfort installation manual doesn\'t seem to say what each pin of the Tel In/Out connectors are for (unless I\'m being blind!).

Can you help ?

Cheers
Lee

The TEL IN connector is to connect the incoming telephone line
The TEL OUT connector is to connect the telephone wires to the phones in the home

Schematically Telephone line - > Comfort TEL IN. TEL OUT -> telephones

The polarity of the TEL IN and TEL Out wires do not matter

Hi again, only just getting round to wiring into the phone line!

Still a bit unclear with regards to the wiring.
Diagrams I\'ve seen online show 3 wires running from master sockets to extensions, for example:
http://www.telephonesuk.co.uk/wiring_info.htm

I assume because we have an ADSL modem, I can\'t wire comfort direct to the incoming line - the installation manual shows the microfilter must go inline before Comfort.

Looking at the diagrams in the link above, once the line comes out of the master socket, it seems that 3 wires are used, so I am not sure which of these wires I connect to Comfort.

Can you explain a bit more ?

Cheers
Lee
